Panels Plus Ltd - Type 8/9 doors

Both of these door frame mouldings are made to the same specification, with Type 8 being 60mm wide and Type 9 80mm wide.

These can be ordered as individual door ranges i.e with one type of frame for the whole order or with a mixture. We recommend the use of Type 9 for doors and Type 8 for drawers. This gives the advantage of a very solid door frame but does not give problems of fitting handles to drawers where the centre panel is too small.

All type 8/9 doors are made from MDF frames wrapped in 0.17mm Vinyl foil. Centre panels are also MDF laminated with the same foil to give an exact match.

All Type 8/9 doors are made to measure up to the limit imposed by the MDF centre panel size. (2440 x 1220mm)

Cross rails are not supplied in this door range.

All doors and drawers feature vertical grain on the centre panel unless specifically ordered otherwise.

Minimum possible height for Type 8 drawers is 130mm, Type 9 drawers 175mm. (Recommended min 200mm.)
